MyHVACReport.com provides AI-powered analysis of HVAC contractor proposals. You upload a proposal document; we extract, analyze, and score it, and return a report. The Service is designed to help homeowners make more informed decisions about HVAC purchases. The Service is provided free of charge to consumers.
2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3 Your Submissions
3.1 What You Upload
You may upload HVAC proposal documents (PDFs, photos, or images) for analysis. By uploading a document, you represent that:
- You have the right to submit it (it was provided to you by the contractor).
- It does not contain information that would violate any third party's rights.
- You are not submitting fraudulent, fabricated, or altered documents.
3.2 License to Process
By uploading a proposal, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze the document and its contents for the purpose of generating your report and improving our Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle uploaded documents and extracted data.
3.3 Anonymized Data
We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from proposals to improve our pricing benchmarks, scoring models, and market intelligence dataset. This use does not identify you personally.
4 Nature of the Analysis — Important Disclaimer
- Our pricing benchmarks reflect market data ranges and may not reflect every local market condition, contractor circumstance, or project complexity.
- Our equipment evaluations are based on publicly available manufacturer and model information, which may not capture every product variant or regional availability.
- Our contractor assessments are based on publicly available data (reviews, licensing records) and may not be current or complete.
- You should always obtain multiple quotes and consult with qualified HVAC professionals before making a purchasing decision.
We are not responsible for decisions you make based on your MyHVACReport analysis. The report is one input among many.
5 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents containing malware, harmful code, or content designed to interfere with our systems.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our pricing benchmarks, scoring methodology, or other proprietary data.
- Use the Service to generate reports for commercial resale without our written permission.
- Misrepresent the source or authenticity of uploaded proposals.
- Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.
6 No Fees; No Refunds
MyHVACReport.com is provided free of charge to consumers. There are no fees, subscriptions, or charges associated with submitting a proposal or receiving a report. Because the Service is free, no refunds are applicable.
7 Intellectual Property
The Service, including our scoring methodology, benchmark data, report format, software, and branding, is owned by MyHVACReport.com and protected by applicable intellectual property law. "MyHVACReport.com" and related marks are trademarks of MyHVACReport.com.
Your report is generated for your personal use. You may share it with others involved in your HVAC project (family members, a second opinion advisor, etc.) but may not reproduce or resell it commercially.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyHVACReport.com and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

Our Service relies on third-party infrastructure including AI processing, cloud hosting, and data services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services, though we select and monitor them carefully.

14 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. The arbitration shall take place in Maryland, or remotely by mutual agreement.
Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with us individually and waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
